Child Guard App for Android

Many parents have experienced searching for their child, usually in panic, because they got distracted and the child walked too far from them in stores, outdoors, parks, or playgrounds.

 

There have been cases where a child’s parent has walked away from the car and left the child alone in the car. Besides fear and possibility of other dangers, hot or freezing temperature in the car can put the child’s life in danger.

 

Child Guard helps keep your child within safe distance from you in stores, outdoors, parks and playgrounds.

 

Child Guard warns you if your child separates from you more than about 10 meters (35 feet),

 

Child Guard warns you if you walk away from your car and leave the child in the car.

 

Child Guard requires a small Bluetooth device such as a Bluetooth headphone.

For child in the car reminder, you may use the car's Bluetooth and do not need a separate Bluetooth.

Setup

- Using your cell phone settings, pair a Bluetooth headphone (or any small Bluetooth device) with your cell phone. This is a one time setup.

- Turn the Bluetooth on.

- Open Child Guard app.

- Touch the “Select Bluetooth button”.

- Select the Bluetooth you want to use with Child Guard.

- Select the warning ringtone using the “Select Ringtone” button.

- Attach the Bluetooth device to your child clothing or wrist or place in her/his pocket.

- For child in the car you can just place the Bluetooth in the car.

 

Operation

- If your child separates from you more than about 10 meters (35 feet), the phone will ring to warn you and displays a screen for your response.

- If you walk away from your car and leave the child behind the phone will ring to warn you and displays a screen for your response.

- if you are running another app, Child Guard alarm will sound and appear in your cell phone notification panel.

- Child Guard is fail safe. If someone turns the Bluetooth off or the Bluetooth runs out of power, the app sets the alarm.

 

Child in the Car

If your car has a Bluetooth you do not need a separate Bluetooth. Simply use your car's  Bluetooth for setup. As soon as you turn off the car Child Guard will ring to warn you.
